Norris, Piastri set McLaren⁢ Pace at Austrian ⁤GP

McLarenS Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri topped the charts in the second practice session ⁤of the Austrian Grand Prix, though both drivers remain wary of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Norris, who sat out FP1, clocked the fastest time in FP2, closely followed ⁤by teammate⁣ Piastri.

Verstappen, ‍who often excels at the Red Bull Ring,‌ finished third in FP2. Lance Stroll in the Aston Martin was the only other driver within half a second of the leading McLarens. the McLaren team is focused on maintaining its competitive edge as it heads into FP3 and ⁢qualifying.

Norris indicated the car felt strong ⁤promptly. He added that the team needs to analyze ⁢data to optimize performance for qualifying. He noted McLaren appeared ‍more competitive in the​ afternoon session after‍ struggling⁤ in the morning.
