The 10:45 a.m. event, part of the Jewish Federation of the berkshires’ Connecting with Community Series, will focus on mind-body exercises. Friedman will draw from both the Jewish mystical Kabbalistic tradition and Chinese healing arts, including tai chi, to promote longevity and health. The program aims to explore agile aging through these combined practices.
Following the presentation, attendees are invited to stay for a home-cooked lunch. The event offers a unique approach to holistic well-being, blending physical and spiritual elements.
Lunch reservations are required by 9 a.m. on July 2 and can be made by calling 413-442-2200. A $3 donation is requested for adults over 60; all others are asked to donate $7.
