Taichung Celebrates U12 Asian Little League Championship Victory

The Taichung City Government is celebrating the success of the Taiwanese U12 baseball team after they won the Asian Little League Championship. They defeated Japan 1-0 and South Korea 5-1 in the final match. Mayor Lu Xuan expressed joy over this achievement and announced that a reward system will be in place for the team.

City Councilor Jiang Heshu highlighted the players’ dedication and mentioned that three team members are from Taichung. He expressed hope that baseball will grow among youth in the region.

Mayor Lu thanked Councilor Jiang for supporting the team and encouraged young players from Taichung. The city will announce the details of the awards soon.
