Zhang Wenhong, the February spokesperson, not only enjoys fitness but also delivered a baby on Mid-Autumn Festival, earning him the honorary title of “godfather.”
Other featured firefighters include Chen Jing, a national softball champion, Lin Chunlong and his son Lin Yu, members of the firefighter parent-child team, and Liu Pini, who showcased her dance skills at the press conference.
The calendar also highlights the diverse roles within the fire department. Deng Yu leads the “Thunderbolt Team,” a specialized unit handling counterterrorism and hostage rescue. Yang Chengxun,who lost over 100 pounds to achieve his firefighting dream,exemplifies dedication and perseverance.
Li huanxi and Zhang Tingwei, September’s spokesmen, represent the collaborative spirit between firefighters and police.Hong Lingning, the October spokesperson, learned the Hakka language to better serve the community.
