NewsDirectory3.com: Dr. Lin, the recent revelation of videos depicting suspected sex work in Taichung Park has sparked outrage. What are your thoughts on the situation?
Dr. Lin: This situation is unfortunately not unique to Taichung. Public parks in many urban areas around the world grapple with the issue of sex work. The easy accessibility of online platforms, however, has undoubtedly amplified the visibility and impact. It’s concerning because it creates a public safety issue, normalizes potentially exploitative behavior, and tarnishes the image of a cherished public space.
