The marathon route will impact traffic flow throughout the city, with road closures and diversions in effect from 5:00 a.m. too 1:00 p.m. Key thoroughfares affected include Renai Road, Jinyi Road, Hangzhou South Road, and zhongshan South Road.”Runners and spectators should be aware of potential traffic delays and plan their routes accordingly,” said a spokesperson for the Taipei City Police Department. “We encourage the use of public transportation and urge pedestrians to follow the directions of on-site police and volunteers.”

With chilly winds blowing in from mainland china, the Taipei City Government’s Sports Bureau is advising runners to take precautions against the cold.
“Pay close attention to the temperature difference and dress warmly,” said a representative from the Sports Bureau. “It’s crucial to warm up properly before the race, listen to your body, and stay within your limits.Remember to hydrate and rest adequately after crossing the finish line.”
Traffic Disruptions and Alternate Routes
Drivers can expect significant traffic disruptions, notably along the marathon route. Bus shelters within the controlled road area will be temporarily suspended,and several bus routes will be diverted.
Motorists traveling northbound on Renai Road might potentially be diverted to the Keelung Road underpass or Jianguo Elevated Road. Southbound traffic on Renai Road can utilize the Jianguo Elevated Road or Zhongjiao East Road Underpass.
