Taiwan Business Leader Dies Suddenly in Mainland China
Taipei, Taiwan – zhu Shi, the Secretary-General of the Association for the Advancement of Industry adn Commerce in Taiwan, passed away suddenly on December 9th while attending the 2024 Cross-Strait Entrepreneurship Summit Annual Meeting in Xiamen, China.
Zhu was found unresponsive in his hotel room and pronounced dead at the scene. The Association confirmed his passing, stating that he was last seen entering the hotel for breakfast but could not be located before a scheduled meeting.
“Zhu Shi was found in OHCA (pre-hospital cardiopulmonary arrest) in his hotel room,showing no signs of life,” the Association said in a statement.
The Association is assisting Zhu’s family in traveling to mainland China to handle the situation. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of death.
