SOCORRO,Texas (AP) — Taiwanese server manufacturer Wiwynn has purchased an industrial site in socorro,Texas, for approximately $59.6 million, according to a report in Taiwan News. The move signals the company’s intention to establish its first production facility in the United States.
The site, spanning 36,400 square kilometers, currently houses warehouses and maintenance buildings. Wiwynn plans to repurpose these structures into production lines. The company aims to commence operations within three months through its U.S.-controlled subsidiary, Wymus.
