There are large waves and swells on the sea surface. Members of the public are advised to stay away from the shore and stop all water activities.

As Tam Mei gradually moves away, local winds will weaken from tonight to tomorrow morning. Depending on the changes in local winds, the Observatory will consider changing the No. 1 alert signal at that time.

At 3 p.m., Typhoon Trame was concentrated about 620 kilometers south-southwest of Hong Kong, that is, near 17.1 degrees north latitude and 112.0 degrees east longitude. It was expected to move westward at a speed of about 18 kilometers per hour, towards the waters south of Hainan Island.
