Tata Motors plans to reintroduce the Sierra, starting with an electric version in September 2025. Petrol and diesel models are expected in early 2026. The Sierra EV will maintain its signature wrap-around rear windows, incorporating modern design and technology.
The electric SUV is projected to have multiple battery options and may include Tata’s quad Wheel Drive system. powertrains will be similar to the Harrier EV,offering 65kWh and 75kWh battery choices and a dual-motor Quad Wheel Drive setup delivering 504Nm of torque.

Performance and Features
The Sierra EV is expected to offer 400-520km range based on the battery pack, with power up to 315hp and 600Nm torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is estimated at 6.5 seconds. It will support DC fast charging, reaching 0-80% in approximately 45 minutes, with home charging taking 9-10 hours.
Key features include LED light bars, diamond-cut alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, and options for two or three-row seating. Technology highlights consist of Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, connected car features, and ventilated second-row seats. Safety standards are expected to be high, pending NCAP testing.
