Tata Steel has launched an updated DigECA platform, extending access to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), categorized as Emerging Corporate Accounts (ECA). This B2MSME e-commerce platform enables MSMEs to directly purchase high-quality steel products and services with ease.
Building on the success of Tata Steel’s Aashiyana B2C portal, DigECA aims to transform the customer journey for ecas. The platform focuses on flat products, including Tata Astrum, Tata Steelium, and Galvano, providing MSMEs a streamlined purchase experience with Tata Steel and its channel partners. Integrated financing options and order tracking are also available.
Since its pilot launch in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025, DigECA has seen substantial growth, onboarding more than 2,000 ECA customers and achieving significant Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) milestones. This growth reflects a commitment to transparency in material availability and order fulfillment, ensuring a smooth process from inquiry to delivery, enhanced by post-supply services. The MSME steel sector is expected to benefit from this e-commerce platform, which offers a new avenue for direct transactions.
