He guided Taufik Hidayat to olympic gold in Athens 2004 and has honed the skills of international stars like Kidambi Srikanth of india and Loh Kean Yew of singapore. “There were discussions with Mr. Hidayat, our Deputy chairman 1, regarding Mulyo’s appointment,” Soebagdja confirmed. “However, the selection process involved considering various nominees.”
