She emphasized the team is representing fiji on the world stage and needs the backing of their home country as they prepare to face Scotland.
“We just need support. That’s one of the biggest things we really need at this stage,” Tawake stated,according to FBC News. “We’re taking Fiji to the world, and what matters moast to us is our family back at home.”
Tawake stressed that the team’s passion and dedication to the jersey are not solely defined by the game’s outcome. “Despite the scoreboard, we’re out here repping the black and white jersey. What we do is for our country, and we take a lot of pride in it,” she said.
