Tay Keith’s Music for Healing Initiative Supports Cancer Patients
Grammy-nominated producer Tay Keith is using his platform to launch ”Music For Healing,” a new program in partnership with the American Cancer Society. Through his foundation, Drumatized Cares, Keith aims to provide therapeutic soundscapes to cancer patients and caregivers across Tennessee, offering comfort through music.
The initiative kicked off at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Nashville, where Keith personally delivered custom JBL speakers to patients. These speakers feature playlists curated by his label, designed to promote calm and rest. The multi-city effort honors Keith’s mother, who died from cancer in 2021.
The playlists, produced by keith and his Drumatized collaborators, feature instrumental tracks intended to ease emotional stress. The goal is to provide a musical experience that supports patients navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.

Keith, known for producing hits like “Look Alive” and “SICKO MODE,” is expanding his impact beyond the music studio. Drumatized Cares focuses on youth, arts education, and community wellness. In early 2025, Keith partnered with Save The Music and Audiomack to donate musical instruments to Maplewood High School in Nashville. He also launched the “my Memphis Poetry Challenge,” encouraging young creatives to express themselves.
In 2024, Keith hosted a Mother’s Day dinner honoring cancer survivors, a tribute to his mother’s memory. “Music For Healing” builds on this legacy, reaching Hope Lodge communities statewide and offering care, connection, and support.

What’s next
The “Music For Healing” initiative will continue to expand across Tennessee, bringing therapeutic music and support to more cancer patients and their families through the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge communities.
