Taylor Fritz Reaches Career-High No. 4 in ATP Rankings – Movers of the Week

1. Taylor Fritz – No. 4 (+1)
Taylor Fritz reached a career-high ranking of World No. 4 after making it to the Nitto ATP Finals championship match. Fritz is the first American since 2006 to reach this final. He won against Daniil Medvedev and Alex de Minaur in the group stage and beat Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals. Though he lost to World No. 1 Jannik Sinner in both group play and the final, his performance has solidified his place in the top rankings.
2. Casper Ruud – No. 6 (+1)
Casper Ruud improved his ranking to World No. 6 by reaching the semi-finals of the Nitto ATP Finals for the third consecutive year. Despite a difficult season, he secured victories over Carlos Alcaraz and Andrey Rublev before losing to Sinner. This ranking is his highest since April.
3. Borna Coric – No. 92 (+5)
Borna Coric saw a big jump in his ranking after reaching the quarter-finals at the ATP Challenger Tour event in Lyon. He climbed five spots to World No. 92 and aims to continue his upward trend at the upcoming Challenger event in Rovereto.
4. Federico Coria – No. 99 (+2)
Federico Coria returned to the Top 100 after reaching the semi-finals at the Montevideo Challenger. He also participated in doubles alongside Argentian football star Diego Forlan during this event.
5. Mattia Bellucci – No. 100 (+4)
Mattia Bellucci rose to World No. 100, marking nine Italian players in the Top 100. He has won seven titles in 2024, highlighting his success in the Challenger circuit with victories in Saint-Tropez and Vilnius.
