SiGMA Asia Summit Spotlights Gaming Innovation in the Philippines
The 2025 SiGMA Asia summit in Manila, Philippines, drew more than 13,000 delegates to the SMX Convention Center from June 1–4.The summit, a gateway to Asian markets, emphasized the region’s economic potential, innovation and responsible growth.
The four-day event included talks, startup showcases, cultural activities, charity work and networking. A highlight was the launch of a philanthropic community center.
Opening ceremony
H.E. Mr. John Busuttil, along with SiGMA Group CEO Emily Micallef and sigma Asia Director Neil Shih, led the opening ceremony. remarks focused on collaboration and Malta’s regulatory role in Asia.

Conference Highlights
The summit featured panels, chats, and workshops on the SiGMA and AIBC Stages. Day 1 on the SiGMA Stage covered regulatory alignment,operational resilience,ethical growth and affiliate marketing. William Anderson of sureWin delivered the closing keynote, focusing on technology.
Day 2 shifted to user experience, gamification, and AI. the AIBC Stage addressed artificial intelligence, digital assets, and blockchain regulation. A workshop by Dr. jane Thomason and sessions on sports wagering also took place.
Day 2 on the AIBC Stage included a workshop by Nicholas Levenstein,followed by discussions on gaming tokenization. Panels featured venture capitalists and startup founders.
Pitch Competition
SavageTech won the SiGMA Stage Startup pitch,while Analytiks Inc.won the AIBC Stage pitch competition for its data analytics.

SiGMA Foundation
The SiGMA Foundation inaugurated the Batiawan Community Centre in Bataan, offering training and education to rural communities. Delegates also toured Smokey Mountain, highlighting socioeconomic challenges.
Affiliate Retreat
Affiliate partners attended a retreat in Boracay from June 5–7, featuring strategy sessions and wellness activities.
SiGMA Asia Awards
The SiGMA Asia Awards 2025, held at the Conrad Hotel in Manila, recognized industry excellence.SPRIBE received the Outstanding Leadership award, and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) was honored for its contribution to gaming. Charity Auction
The SiGMA Foundation charity auction raised €15,200. Match Liquidity acquired four of five items, including art and a signed boxing glove by Manny Pacquiao.

Proceeds will support projects in Peru and São Paulo. Rick Goddard and Keith Marshall led the auction.
