Techdirt⁤ launched a fundraising‌ campaign ⁢in‍ early December ⁣2025 to support its autonomous‌ journalism. As part of this effort,⁢ a‌ limited-edition commemorative ‍coin ​was offered⁣ to donors contributing $100 or ⁤more. ‌The coin celebrates the 30th anniversary of Section 230 of the ⁢Communications​ Decency Act, ⁢a law⁤ frequently‍ covered by Techdirt.

The fundraising drive is nearing its ⁣conclusion, ⁣and the deadline to receive the commemorative coin is Monday, january 5th.Donations ‌of⁢ $100 or more must be made by this date. Once ‍the deadline passes, the coins will be ‌minted and shipped to donors, and will no longer ​be available.
