Philadelphia Police Arrest Suspect in String of Business Burglaries
Philadelphia police have apprehended Marcos Neto, 19, a suspect wanted in connection to multiple commercial burglaries across Philadelphia and montgomery County,according to a police department spokesperson. Neto faces commercial burglary charges and related offenses.
The serial burglary incidents occurred between Feb. 15 and May 26, 2025, targeting businesses in Northeast Philadelphia, North Philadelphia, and Montgomery County, investigators said. Cheltenham Township officials in Montgomery County had been searching for Neto for six weeks and issued an arrest warrant related to two burglaries.
Authorities report that Neto, who is deaf and communicates using Portuguese sign language, had one prior arrest in philadelphia. A second suspect remains at large for involvement in the Northeast Philadelphia business robberies.Police describe him as a man of medium build with facial hair, last seen wearing a puffy coat and light-colored pants. the Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
