Jakarta, Indonesia – A chilling new detail has emerged in the case of a 14-year-old boy, identified as MAS, who allegedly murdered his father and grandmother in their Jakarta home.Just hours before the brutal attack, the family was reportedly sharing laughter and enjoying a typical evening together.According to AKP Nurma Dewi, Head of Public Relations for the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, MAS’s mother, AP (40), revealed during questioning that the family had been in good spirits the night before the tragedy.
“From the mother’s account, they were joking and laughing like any normal family,” Nurma stated on Tuesday. “She never imagined something like this would happen.”
AP, who recently underwent intensive care at Fatmawati Hospital in South Jakarta, was able to answer 30 questions from investigators despite still recovering physically and emotionally.
“They were still laughing,” Nurma emphasized. “That’s what the mother told us. They ate together, joked around, and laughed. No one expected what we saw to happen.”
