Bobby Sherman,‌ the actor and singer who captivated a generation as ⁤a teen‌ idol, ⁤has died‌ at age 81. ​Sherman was ‌best known for his role in the television series ⁤”Here ⁣Come the Brides” and for Billboard Hot 100 hits such as “Julie, Do You​ Love Me” and “Little Woman.”

His wife, brigitte Poublon Sherman, confirmed ⁢the passing in a statement shared by actor John Stamos. The cause of death was not disclosed.

Sherman’s‍ career extended beyond music and acting. After ⁣”Here Comes the Brides” was canceled in 1970, he made guest appearances on shows like “The Mod⁣ squad,” “The Love Boat,” and “Murder, She Wrote.” He also appeared⁣ in the 1983 ‍comedy “Get Crazy.” Later ⁣in life, Sherman dedicated himself to public service, becoming an EMT and a trainer with the ⁢Los Angeles Police Department.
