TEFAF New York Returns to Park Avenue Armory with 88 Leading Galleries
– TEFAF New York will once again transform the Park Avenue Armory into a showcase for exceptional modern and contemporary art, design, jewelry, and antiquities. The fair will feature 88 leading international galleries, with a preview day scheduled for , by invitation only.
The event, described as a “rigorous and refined art fair,” brings together dealers from around the globe to present their work within the historic Park Avenue Armory. TEFAF New York distinguishes itself as the only art fair at the Armory permitted to activate the building’s historic period rooms on the second floor, a unique feature that enhances the visitor experience.
“The heart of TEFAF New York resides in its exhibitors,” said Leanne Jagtiani, Director of TEFAF New York. “We are proud to present an extraordinary line-up of dealers, encompassing long-standing participants and a group of new entrants representing the best in all disciplines. From internationally renowned modern and contemporary art to design, antiquities, and high jewelry, this year’s edition will further solidify the fair’s position as a leading platform for connoisseurship and discovery.”
This year’s roster includes 10 new exhibitors and 78 returning galleries, with an additional four galleries rejoining the fair after a period of absence. Participants hail from 14 countries across four continents. Notable galleries participating include Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, David Zwirner, White Cube, Axel Vervoordt, and Carpenters Workshop Gallery.
TEFAF New York will also feature large-scale works throughout the fair as part of its Creative Spaces initiative, offering exhibitors a unique opportunity to display pieces outside of their traditional booth spaces. The fair will also present immersive floral installations designed by Tom Postma Design and Ten Kate Flowers & Decorations, alongside champagne and oyster bars, adding to the overall atmosphere.
Bank of America has been a lead partner of TEFAF New York since 2017 and will continue its support. AXA XL is a global lead partner and long-term supporter of TEFAF Maastricht. These partnerships underscore a shared commitment to celebrating art, promoting cultural preservation, and fostering a global community.
The fair’s vetting process remains a central hallmark, with over 120 international experts examining every object offered for sale to ensure authenticity, quality, and condition. This rigorous process aims to build confidence for both buyers and sellers.
