Tehran, Iran – Iranian air defenses were activated Monday in Tehran and the Al-Barz governorate, west of the
capital, according to the Iranian Fares news agency. The activation comes amid escalating tensions in the region
following reported attacks by Israel and the united States.
The Fares news agency reported that the air defenses were activated to counter “unfriendly targets hostile to the
Israeli occupation.”
Additionally,Iranian air defenses reportedly shot down an Israeli Hormis 900 drone in the sky of a central
governorate,according to the news agency.
As June 13, Tehran and other Iranian cities have been subjected to attacks, which Iran has attributed to
Israeli forces. Iran responded with missile attacks on what it called occupied territories.
On Sunday, the Fordo and Natanz nuclear facilities were reportedly targeted by U.S. air strikes. President
