Telenet has integrated HBO Max directly into its Belgian billing platform, allowing customers to subscribe to the streaming service through their standard operator bill. The telecom operator states it is the first provider in Belgium to embed HBO Max into its core billing system. While the HBO Max application was previously accessible via the Telenet TV box, subscribers can now activate, manage, and pay for accounts directly through the MyTelenet web portal and mobile application.
Telenet Billing Integration Details
Subscribers can select any of the three standard HBO Max pricing tiers when signing up through the operator. The Basic tier with advertisements costs €6.99 per month, the Standard tier is priced at €10.99 per month, and the Premium tier costs €15.99 per month. Users retain the ability to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their subscriptions at any time through the MyTelenet platform. “Today, customers increasingly combine traditional television with streaming services. We want to offer them maximum flexibility without compromising on convenience,” said Stijn Eulaerts, VP Premium Entertainment at Telenet.

Streaming Strategy and Content Lineup
Tim Beudel, Director Affiliate Sales Benelux at Warner Bros. Discovery, noted that the agreement makes HBO Max more accessible to local viewers while supporting the platform’s user growth. The integration aligns with Telenet’s broader corporate strategy to position its television hardware and software interfaces as aggregators combining traditional broadcast channels with third-party streaming apps. The HBO Max catalog in Belgium includes standard HBO Original series, feature films, documentaries, and major studio franchises. The service is also slated to host the premiere of the upcoming Harry Potter television series scheduled for release at Christmas.
