Tesla Vehicle Overflow: Hundreds Parked at Chesterfield Mall Dillard’s
Chesterfield, Mo. – Following the demolition of Chesterfield Mall, hundreds of Tesla vehicles have found a temporary home in the parking lot of the remaining Dillard’s department store. The Staenberg Group,a partner in the mall’s redevelopment,confirmed that this arrangement is a continuation of a lease established before the mall’s closure last August. the parked Tesla inventory includes a variety of models and colors, including several Tesla cybertrucks.
Tim Lowe, senior vice president of leasing and development for The Staenberg Group, stated that the Dillard’s lot currently holds between 200 and 400 Tesla vehicles.The arrangement provides overflow parking for the Tesla dealership on Chesterfield Airport Road, located approximately three miles from the mall. Michael Staenberg,president of The Staenberg Group,indicated that Tesla is roughly six months into a lease with about 16 months remaining.
