The No. 2 ranked University of Texas rowing team will compete against the No. 24 ranked Indiana University team on Thursday, April 9, 2026. The event is scheduled for 8 a.m. CT at the Dale England Rowing Center in Bloomington, Indiana.
This matchup marks the first time the Longhorns and the Hoosiers will face each other head-to-head. It also represents the first visit to Bloomington for the Texas rowing program.
Texas Program Performance
The University of Texas enters the competition with a consistent record of national success, having won three of the last five NCAA Championships. The program has also achieved eight consecutive top-four finishes at the national regatta.
Texas enters the Bloomington event following a strong performance at the San Diego Crew Classic on March 29, 2026. During that regatta, the Longhorns swept the grand finals, winning all four of their boat finals.
Spring Schedule and Road Stretch
The meeting with Indiana is the start of a three-regatta road stretch for the Longhorns. Following the event in Bloomington, Texas will travel to Ann Arbor, Michigan, to face the No. 19 ranked Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The contest in Michigan will be the sixth consecutive year the two programs have met during the regular season and the fourth time Texas has traveled to Michigan.
Texas will conclude its regular season on the road on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in a matchup against Stanford in Palo Alto, California.
The Longhorns’ spring season began with a home event against SMU in March, followed by the San Diego Crew Classic on March 28 and March 29, 2026, at Mission Bay Park on the shores of Fiesta Bay-Crown Point.
