Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TGL Golf League at SoFi Center

The SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is buzzing with excitement as it hosts the inaugural season of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TGL (Tee markers Golf League). This indoor golf league marks a significant innovation in the sport, blending cutting-edge technology with traditional golf aesthetics. The SoFi Center, a nearly 250,000-square-foot facility on the campus of Palm Beach State College, boasts a 64-by-53-foot simulator screen and a rotating green on a turntable 41 yards wide, accommodating up to 1,500 fans.

Today, the league follows up last week’s tripleheader with a twin bill, marking that Tiger Woods’ indoor league, the TGL, continues winding down. Tony Finau has signed a one-match contract to play for Los Angeles Golf Club, which is No. 2 in the TGL standings. Along with Colin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala, they’ll compete against Rickie Fowler and New York Golf Club, who are currently holding the final playoff spot. In Game 2, Rory McIlroy’s team will face No. 3 Atlanta Drive GC, featuring Justin Thomas and Billy Horschel. Justin Thomas is particularly noteworthy as a Palm Beach County resident.
