Thackeray Cousins Vow to Continue Fight After BMC Election Results
The Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) both signaled their determination to continue fighting for Marathi interests following the results of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. Both parties framed the outcome as part of a larger political struggle.
On Saturday, Shiv Sena (UBT) posted on X, stating, “This battle is not over yet… It will continue just like this until the Marathi person receives the respect they deserve!”
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray expressed similar views, saying the fight would continue for the “marathi Manoos,” the Marathi language, Marathi identity, and a prosperous Maharashtra. Read more at The Times of India.
