Thai Futsal Team Gets Pre-Tournament Boost Ahead of Crunch Croatia Clash
Thailand’s National Futsal Team Receives Boost Ahead of World Championship
Thailand’s national futsal team has received a welcome boost ahead of their opening match against Croatia in the 2024 World Championship.
The Thai Futsal team has been training in preparation for their match against Croatia, and recently received good news with the return of their goalkeeper, Arus, who had been injured.
Arus Returns to Training
After practice, Arus Senbaat said, “We have to adapt to the weather and the playing surface, which is a good thing. I’ve had a few days to get used to it, and my physical condition is improving. I’ve been able to train with my teammates, and I believe I’ll be ready to help the team in the first game against Croatia.”
Coach Miguel Rodrigo on the Team’s Progress
Miguel Rodrigo, head coach of Thailand’s national futsal team, said, “The last two practices have been a bit heavy, and the concentration may not be high yet. But the players are doing well, and today was better than yesterday. After a good rest, the athletes have had time to adapt to the weather and food. We’re not worried, and we have good news with Arus Senbaat’s physical condition and injuries improving.”
Tactical Approach Against Croatia
“Croatia has big and strong forwards, so we’ll play defense using our strengths. We’ll try to squeeze their upper zone and stop their invasion. If we can do that, we’ll have a chance to control the ball and use our strategy to play. I want the athletes to have the courage to go up and push in Croatia’s territory, and put pressure on them in the upper zone.”
