Thailand’s national postal service, Thai Post Company Limited, has demonstrated a important financial recovery in the frist half of 2025. After navigating a challenging 2024, marked by a loss of 186.8 million baht, the company has returned to profitability, reporting a net profit of 631.56 million baht. This represents a substantial 362.34% increase in net profit compared to the same period last year.
The turnaround follows a period of adjustment and intense competition within Thailand’s rapidly evolving transportation sector. Prior to 2024’s setback, Thai post had already achieved a profit of 78.5 million baht in 2023, demonstrating its resilience and adaptability after facing “negative billions of baht” in previous years.
Key Financial Highlights – first Half of 2025
According to Dr. Danan Suphatthan, President of Thai Post, the company’s total revenue for the first half of 2025 reached 11,544 million baht – an 8.88% increase year-over-year. The transportation and logistics business group remains the primary revenue driver, contributing 46.83% of total revenue, totaling 5,406 million baht – a 11.56% increase with a 6% rise in volume.

and Digital postal Cabinet
from Prompt Post, enabling secure and efficient digital mail management. A new digital identification system, D/ID, will convert sender and recipient information into a six-digit code, enhancing security and streamlining processes. These services are slated for release in September.
Further bolstering its digital capabilities, Thai Post is developing a Super App
that will consolidate all its services into a single platform, offering users parcel tracking, payment options, and access to government and private partner services. This aims to empower Thai SMEs and facilitate their sustainable growth.
