Market Analysis
Chaiphon Nomphitakcharoen, Managing Director of the Securities Trading Division at Bualuang Securities, stated that the Thai stock market followed the same direction as the Asian stock market, which opened with caution due to the upcoming Federal Reserve (Fed) meeting.
The market is eagerly awaiting the Fed’s decision on interest rates, with a potential 0.50% cut. This uncertainty has led investors to delay their investments, resulting in a narrow fluctuation in the market.
Lack of new factors supporting the market, combined with the already announced economic stimulus measures, has resulted in no significant short-term direction for the index.
Tomorrow’s Market Outlook
The market is expected to swing sideways, awaiting the outcome of the Fed meeting, which will be a crucial factor in determining the direction of global stock markets.
The support level is expected to be around 1,425 points, with a resistance level of 1,445 points.
