The Thailand national futsal team took on Timor in the second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Futsal Championship Group A at Terminal Hall, Terminal 21 Shopping Mall, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand.
Thailand entered the match with a strong momentum, having won their first match against Brunei with a score of 13-0. Meanwhile, Timor suffered a 1-4 loss to Vietnam in their previous match.
Thailand’s head coach, Miguel Rodrigo, fielded a starting lineup consisting of Charoenphong Prasansat (GK), Krit Aranyasanyalak, Piyawat Phetchanoi, Narongsak Wongwon (C), and Terd.
The match saw Thailand take an early lead, with Krit Aranyasanalak scoring a goal in the 3rd minute from a free kick in front of the penalty area. The ball deflected off Miguel Lay and into the goal, giving Thailand a 1-0 advantage.
Thailand continued to dominate the match, scoring their second goal in the 7th minute to take a 2-0 lead.
The Thai team further increased their lead, scoring their third goal in the 12th minute to make it 3-0.
In the 13th minute, Thailand scored their fourth goal, ending the first half with a 4-0 lead.
