Thanksgiving Feast for Shelter Animals in Fayetteville
Cumberland County Animal Services will host a Thanksgiving feast for shelter animals on November 25, 2024, at 9 a.m. This event will take place at 4704 Corporation Dr. in Fayetteville. It is a private event and not open to the public. Media members are invited to attend.
The Friends of Cumberland County Animal Services (FOCCAS) is organizing the meal. Approximately 100 dogs and 50 cats will be served.
“Every shelter animal deserves extra love during the holidays,” said Animal Services Director Elaine Smith. “We thank FOCCAS for making this event possible.”
While the event is closed to the public, donations for the feast are welcome. Donations must be delivered to the shelter by 5 p.m. on November 23, 2024.
Needed Donation Items:
- Canned tuna
- Canned chicken
- Plain canned pumpkin
- Green beans
- Unsweetened applesauce
