Thanksgiving Meal Collaboration: Everytable Supports My Friend’s Place for Unhoused Youth
Chef Created Thanksgiving Meal Benefits My Friend’s Place
Everytable has launched a special Thanksgiving meal to support My Friend’s Place, a nonprofit in Los Angeles that helps unhoused youth. This collaboration focuses on providing nutritious meals while empowering young people through resources and community support.
The meal is inspired by Shane Tavarez, an alumnus of My Friend’s Place, and his late wife, Stephanie. Their favorite holiday dishes are included in the meal, representing family and connection during the holiday season.

Proceeds from this meal will benefit My Friend’s Place. It marks the beginning of many partnerships between Everytable and local influencers and culinary innovators.
The Thanksgiving meal, called “My Friend’s Plate,” is available at all Everytable locations. Customers can buy it as an individual meal or as a group option, “My Friend’s Holiday Meal,” serving four. The prices range from $8.49 to $9.99 for individual meals and $33.99 to $39.99 for group meals, depending on the location.
The meal includes roasted turkey breast, charred Brussels sprouts, Shane’s Savory Cranberry Stuffing, Stephanie’s Sweet Potato Mash, Chipotle Cider gravy, and cranberry chutney.
This year, Everytable locations will open on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for pre-ordered meal pickups. They will also provide free community meals to select individuals who would otherwise be alone for the holiday. Registration is required for both events.
Everytable will relaunch its “Pay it Forward” program in November. This program allows customers to buy meals for those in need. Guests who purchase a “Pay it Forward” meal will receive a card to help someone in need redeem a meal in-store.
Everytable plans to offer 12 free “My Friend’s Plate” meals on Thanksgiving Day at each location. Interested individuals should sign up for the free meal by November 24. Meals must be enjoyed at Everytable between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Sam Polk, CEO of Everytable, said, “We believe in nourishing both the body and soul. Meals are better shared with friends. Shane’s story demonstrates the power of support and community.”
Heather Carmichael, Executive Director of My Friend’s Place, added, “This meal represents connection and hope. We are proud to honor Stephanie’s legacy with this partnership.”
