Sony Pictures Consumer Products has announced a global licensing initiative for the satirical superhero series The Boys, which includes a collaboration with Call of Duty: Mobile.

The in-game integration is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2026. This partnership arrives as the television series prepares for the premiere of its fifth and final season on Prime Video on April 15, 2026.

The collaboration will introduce three playable characters from The Boys into the mobile shooter. In addition to the characters, the update will feature themed bundles, rewards, and show-inspired content, including legendary weapons.

Expanding The Boys Gaming Presence

The Call of Duty: Mobile crossover is part of a broader strategy to integrate the intellectual property into the gaming market. In March 2026, Sony launched a virtual reality title titled The Boys: Trigger Warning.

The series has also previously expanded into fighting games through a partnership with Mortal Kombat 1, which released downloadable content featuring the character Homelander.

These gaming initiatives are designed to complement the final narrative arc of the television series as it concludes its run on Prime Video.

For the final season, we focused on partnering with brands that authentically align with the series’ bold tone and devoted fan base, creating products and experiences that extend the world of Vought and our fan-favorite vigilantes, ‘The Boys,’ in ways that feel immersive, unexpected and globally resonant.

Jamie Stevens, EVP, Worldwide Consumer Products, Sony Pictures Entertainment

Stevens noted that the series has become a fearless cultural force known for redefining the superhero genre, and the licensing rollout aims to maintain that momentum through the series finale.
