The final season of the superhero satire series The Boys premiered its first two episodes on Amazon Prime Video on April 8, 2026. This concluding installment focuses on the endgame of the long-running conflict between Billy Butcher and Homelander.
Based on the comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the fifth season follows the team as they navigate a world under a new authoritarian regime. The narrative picks up with Billy Butcher reappearing, equipped with a virus capable of wiping out Supes from the world, while Homelander assumes control.
The season features a returning ensemble cast. Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Colby Minifie all reprise their roles.
