Abdel Fattah Adam scored the only goal in the 12th round of the Saudi Roshan League, leading Al-Taoun to a victory over Al-Raed. The match took place at Dr. Buraidah Stadium. This win marked a repeat of their first meeting in the league from the 2010–2011 season, which Al-Taoun also won.

With this victory, Al-Taoun has now defeated Al-Raed 13 times in their 29 encounters, while Al-Raed has won 6 times and they have drawn 10 matches. Overall, both teams have scored 32 goals against each other.

Before this match, Al-Taoun earned another 1-0 win against Al-Fayha and a similar win against Al-Akhdoud, both through goals from Adam and Musa Barrow. After this latest win, Al-Taoun has 18 points and sits in eighth place, while Al-Raed remains at 14 points in tenth place.

Looking ahead, Al-Raed will play against Al-Hilal next Saturday, while Al-Taoun will travel to Jeddah to face Al-Ahly on the same day.
