Comedy Central’s ‘The Daily Show’ Announces Guest Hosts

Comedy Central is preparing for a new era of “The Daily Show” following Trevor Noah’s departure.The network revealed that a roster of comedy stars will take turns hosting the late-night show.
starting jan. 17, Al Franken, Chelsea Handler, D. L. Hughley, leslie Jones, John Leguizamo, Hasan Minhaj, Kal Penn, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes and marlon Wayans are among those slated to host “The Daily Show.” The network also noted that “Daily Show” correspondents and contributors will also serve as guest hosts.
Chris McCarthy, president/CEO of paramount Media Networks, thanked Noah for his contributions. He added that the network is excited to reimagine the show with the help of talented guest hosts and the “Daily Show” team.
“As we enter Trevor’s final week, we want to thank him for his many contributions,” said Chris McCarthy, president/CEO of Paramount Media Networks.

Noah’s last show is scheduled to air this Thursday.
