National Award winning actress Shruti Hariharan had filed sexual allegations against lead actor Arjun Sarja. On Shruti’s complaint, Cubbon Park police in Bengaluru had registered a case against Arjun Sarja. Later, Arjun Sarja was acquitted and the police filed a complaint in the court. Shruti later refused to pursue the case. This is not an incident, but a 2018 allegation is being discussed.

Shruti Hariharan had earlier revealed the bad experience she had on the sets of her first Kannada film in 2018. I was eighteen. I was preparing to act in my first Kannada film. I was scared. I cried a lot. When I told my choreographer about it, he said if you don’t know how to handle it, stop.

This incident happened four years after my first experience. A big Tamil producer bought the remake rights of my Kannada film. One day he called. I said that I should do the same role in Tamil as I did in Telugu. Shruti is entering the cinema through Malayalam. Shruti’s first film was a film company. Shruti won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her role in Beautiful Manasugalu (2017).
