The Gatherists hosted their first Berlin edition on Saturday, April 18, 2026, bringing together creative minds for an intimate gathering centered on conversation, connection, and shared ideas.
Held in a private apartment in Berlin, the event was co-hosted by Laura Muthesius and Nora Eisermann, founders of Our Foodstories and Designtales, with Marieke Verdenius serving as the founder of The Gatherists. The gathering took place from 11:30 to 14:30 and welcomed designers, photographers, stylists, writers, and makers who value meaningful, in-person connection.
According to the event description, The Gatherists is a curated gathering for creative minds that emphasizes slowing down, exchanging ideas, reflecting on work, and building lasting connections beyond surface-level interaction. While there is no formal program, the intention behind the event fosters new perspectives, collaborations, and relationships among attendees.
Attendees enjoyed cake, coffee, and other homemade snacks, including Nora Eisermann’s famous gluten-free lemon cheesecake. The setting was described as cozy and personal, with a shared table serving as the focal point for conversation and creative exchange.
This Berlin edition followed the first gathering in Germany held the previous November, which also took place at the inspiring St. Oak Apartments. Based on the positive feedback from that initial event, organizers decided to host another edition, this time in a more intimate setting at Laura Muthesius’s apartment in Berlin.
The event was promoted through multiple channels, including Inviting Space, Our Food Stories, and Verdenius Photography, with tickets priced at €55 including tax. Seats were limited to 15 persons to maintain the intimate atmosphere central to The Gatherists’ concept.
Following the Berlin gathering, The Gatherists announced plans for their next edition in Copenhagen on May 8, 2026, to be hosted at the studio of Atelier Cph in Frederiksberg, continuing their mission to foster creative connection across European cities.
