On November 11, THE LAST ROCKSTARS released the music video for their single, Psycho Love. This event coincides with the second anniversary of the band, which features YOSHIKI, MIYAVI, HYDE, and SUGIZO. Notably, Psycho Love is MIYAVI’s last song with the group as he departs to focus on his solo career and personal projects.
MIYAVI expressed his feelings about leaving the band in a statement:
“I’m sorry for the surprising announcement regarding the band. I really loved the time we four got to spend together. I learned a lot from everyone, and I still respect them. There was no big fight; I wanted to clash more. Taking on the world requires full commitment, and I felt it was difficult to continue. I wish we had met as kids and formed a band together. They will always be my beloved big brothers.”
The farewell was amicable. THE LAST ROCKSTARS thanked MIYAVI and encouraged fans to support him and the band. YOSHIKI even invited MIYAVI to dinner to discuss future collaborations, suggesting the bonds within the group remain strong.
MIYAVI and THE LAST ROCKSTARS wish each other well in their future endeavors, fostering hope for more collaborations ahead.
