The National Museum of Qatar celebrates International Children’s Day by organizing various events
Qatar National Museum will celebrate International Children’s Day with special activities on November 20. The event will take place in the museum’s garden.
The schedule includes the following activities:
- Collaborative Artwork: Children will work together to create a small version of the museum.
- Storytelling Sessions: These sessions will focus on “The Most Beautiful Day of My Life,” highlighting Qatar’s heritage and values.
- Interactive Games: These games will educate children about their rights in a fun way.
- Arabic Reading Adventure: This activity encourages children to explore various reading materials, such as books and newspapers.
- Little Explorers Event: Families will learn about Qatar’s environment, heritage, and culture.
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al Thani, the museum’s Director, emphasized the importance of empowering children. He stated that providing a supportive environment helps children develop critical thinking and self-expression.
This event is free and open to all. Children of all ages are welcome to attend with their families.
International Children’s Day started in 1954 on November 20. Its goal is to improve the lives of children globally and strengthen international relationships.
