“THE Oliver dog, (Gosh!!) Kono Yarrow MOVIE” 2nd cast announced. Gorgeous performers to be announced one after another | Movie Time
“THE Oliver’s Dog (Gosh!!) This Yarrow MOVIE” written, directed, edited and starring Joe Odagiri has been announced to be released in the fall of 2025. For some reason, only Ippei Aoba (Sosuke Ikematsu), the handler of the police dog section in the Identification Division, sees his partner, the police dog Oliver, as an eccentric man in a dog costume who is full of alcohol, cigarettes, and the desire to like women. The drama set has been made into a movie. The second cast has been announced.
Continuing from the drama version, it has been announced that Masatoshi Nagase, Koichi Sato, Hisaku Shimada, Shohei Uno, and Yu Kashii will appear in the drama.
In the drama version, Masatoshi Nagase plays Kenichi Mizoguchi, a freelance reporter who quit his job as a police dog handler because he regrets not being able to solve a certain case, and Koichi Sato plays Konishi, a super volunteer who discovers missing people one after another while pulling a cart. As Yukio, Shohei Uno plays Shigeru Shisui, who used to run a bar frequented by young yakuza heads, but now works at the bar disguised as a woman, played by Kyusaku Shimada, an amazing but meaningless character. Yu Kashii played the master of the diner-style dog cafe “DOGGY SUE’S DINER” who has a memory, and a fortune teller who uses a crystal ball to predict a mass murder for Ippei and Mizoguchi.
The story of the movie version has not yet been announced. Further news is awaited.
