The highly⁣ anticipated second season of Netflix’s “The Sandman,” based on Neil Gaiman’s comic series, is generating ⁤buzz with its newly released trailer. Fans are eager too see the continuation of Dream’s journey, promising even ‍more ⁢visual splendor ⁢than the first season, which holds an 88% critics score on rotten Tomatoes.

Season⁣ 2 picks up ‍weeks after the initial events, with Dream focused on rebuilding his realm. Though, the‍ past is never⁤ far behind in “The Sandman” universe. The show’s visual impact is a recurring theme, with many viewers⁣ already calling the new ‍trailer ⁣a “visual masterpiece.”

Showrunner Allan Heinberg emphasized the team’s growth and resources. “We are ‍lucky that nearly ⁣everyone who ‍worked in front of or behind the camera for Season 1 is back for Season 2,” ⁣Heinberg said.”We ⁣all learned an enormous amount about the ⁤show⁢ in Season 1, so getting the same team back together a year or more later⁤ allowed ⁢us ⁣to build on everything we learned and to try to ⁢raise our game on every front.”

Heinberg noted the inclusion of Thor, Loki, and Odin in a banquet scene featuring “divine representatives” from various universes, calling it a “showstopper.”

The final⁣ season will be split into two volumes. ‍Volume 1, consisting ⁣of six episodes,⁢ will be released July 3, followed ⁣by Volume 2 with five episodes on ⁣July 24. A‍ bonus episode is scheduled for July 31.
