[What are the 100 environmental education/ESD practice videos?]

In order to realize a sustainable society, we must proactively view the various problems in modern society as our own and work on them.

Environmental education/ESD is education that aims to create a society that brings about changes in new values ​​and behaviors that will lead to solving such problems, and it is important to spread its practice throughout society.

Many of our current efforts rely on the ingenuity and efforts of individuals on the ground, so we have created videos of good examples of environmental education and ESD practices to provide hints to those practicing and learning in the field. We have selected this video as one of 100 Practical Environmental Education/ESD Videos and will disseminate it widely as a showcase of good practices.

Continuing from last year, the Ministry of the Environment is soliciting videos of approximately 3 minutes in length about SDGs, environmental education, and ESD practices aimed at children (from early childhood to high school) in school education or social education, and will be reviewed by a screening committee. We plan to award the certificate during the ESD Promotion Network National Forum 2024 on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
In addition to disseminating the selected videos on the Ministry of the Environment’s website, official YouTube channel, and events, we also plan to hold networking events with the creators of the selected videos.
