The event, titled “The Self-Compassion Advantage: Managing Stress & Building Resilient Leaders,” focuses on integrating mental health strategies into professional leadership practices, according to event details published by both MPI and the CNFBTA.
Program Begins with Registration and Keynote Presentation
The program begins at 8:00 a.m. with registration, networking opportunities, and headshots, followed by a breakfast buffet at 8:40 a.m. The formal agenda starts at 8:45 a.m. with welcome remarks from both hosting organizations and the venue sponsor. The keynote presentation is scheduled for 9:10 a.m., followed by a corporate social responsibility (CSR) activation in partnership with Experience Kissimmee at 10:05 a.m. The morning concludes with a wellness conversation at 10:35 a.m. and an optional tour of the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Millenia at 11:15 a.m.
Keynote Focus on Leadership Resilience
Matt Kovatchis, a former corporate banker and executive coach, will lead the keynote session. Kovatchis, who hosts the podcast “The Men in the Arena,” specializes in stress management and heart-led leadership. According to the event organizers, the session aims to provide practical strategies for leaders to handle professional pressure while maintaining authenticity. Kovatchis intends to draw from both his career in finance and his experience with personal struggles to address how self-compassion can strengthen resilience in leadership roles.
Networking and Membership Recognition
The event incorporates a “Better Together Connection Challenge” designed to encourage attendees to interact with members of the partnering organization.
