Hub Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ota Tsuyoshi) has installed furniture (sofas, etc.) made of genuine leather in some of its stores. The company sympathizes with Thinking Leather Action, a project that promotes the sustainability of leather and leather products. We are pleased to announce that we will be displaying campaign posters and leaflets that are part of Thinking Leather Action in these stores.

Campaign posters and leaflets that are part of the Thinking Leather Action initiative will be placed in 15 stores that have genuine leather furniture (sofas, etc.) to promote the sustainability of leather and leather products.

■What is Thinking Leather Action?

Thinking Leather Action is a project led by the Japan Leather and Leather Goods Industry Association (JLIA), the largest comprehensive organization in Japan consisting of organizations that handle leather raw materials and leather products such as shoes, bags, luggage, accessories, belts, gloves, and apparel, to promote the sustainability of leather and leather products. We are working to spread understanding based on correct knowledge about why leather is an eco-friendly and sustainable material.
