The Three Finalists of the 26th Season of Wie Is De Mol? Revealed

The finalists of Wie is de Mol? season 26 have been revealed, setting up a tense conclusion to the Tanzanian leg of the competition. After nine episodes filmed in Tanzania, the final showdown moved to Zanzibar where the remaining four contestants faced their last challenges before the final test.

Presenter Rik van de Westelaken revealed the results using the signature red screen mechanism that has determined eliminations throughout the season. Bram Krikke was the first to see his screen turn green, confirming his place in the finale. Daan Boom followed with the same positive result, securing his spot as the second finalist.

The final elimination came down to Quinty Misiedjan and Matteo van der Grijn. When Quinty’s screen was revealed as green, it became immediately clear that Matteo had been eliminated, leaving him as the contestant who would not advance to the final three.

Upon learning of his elimination, Matteo van der Grijn responded with gratitude and reflection. Rik van de Westelaken attempted to console the 45-year-old actor, but Matteo declined the sympathy, stating: “Nee, maar het is helemaal goed. Alles meegemaakt, fantastisch. Het was me een waar genoegen. Ik heb van alles genoten: de mensen om me heen, de opdrachten, de plekken waar we zijn. Ik voel me een gezegend man.”

As Matteo departed with his head held high, the three finalists celebrated their achievement by toasting their success. The group now consists of a potential winner, a loser and the still-unidentified Mole, setting up the ultimate question that will be answered in the season finale.

The finalists – Bram Krikke, Daan Boom, and Quinty Misiedjan – will now compete in the live finale to determine who will win the prize pot and who will be revealed as the Mole responsible for sabotaging the group’s efforts throughout the season in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
