The Undertaker Loses WWE Championship – News & Analysis
The Undertaker Loses WWE LFG Championship – But It Stays in the Family!
The Undertaker has lost his championship title in WWE,but the good news is it’s remaining within his family.
He was crowned the WWE LFG Champion months ago following the success of his team members in season one – Tyra Mae Steele winning the women’s finals and Shiloh Hill finishing as runner-up for the men.
However, season two of WWE LFG concluded tonight, resulting in The Undertaker being dethroned.
Despite two of his protégés, Dani Sekelsky (women’s winner) and Shiloh Hill (men’s winner), achieving victory this season, the championship wasn’t retained by The Undertaker. Instead, Shawn Michaels awarded the WWE LFG Championship to The Undertaker’s wife, michelle McCool, who was making her debut this season after replacing Mickie James as a coach.
mccool had a team member, Penina Tuilaepa (PJ Vasa), reach the women’s final, finishing as runner-up to Sekelsky.
Following their wins, Dani Sekelsky and Shiloh Hill are set to debut on WWE NXT TV in the near future. Harlem Lewis, from Booker T’s team, was the men’s runner-up.
