Updated June 13, 2025
Martin Frizell, former editor of “This Morning,” expressed his sorrow over the reported deaths of Fiongal Greenlaw, 39, and jamie Meek, 45, in the recent Air India crash. The couple, known for their wellness brand, had appeared on the show. They were passengers on the flight to London after vacationing in India.
Frizell shared his memories of Greenlaw’s January appearance with hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley on Instagram. He recalled Greenlaw’s “vibrancy” and “sheer enthusiasm” when discussing auras. Susanna Reid, of “Good Morning Britain,” and Lisa Snowdon also offered their support.
Greenlaw had appeared on “This Morning” in January, giving aura readings to Shephard and Deeley. He later returned in April as a spiritual advisor, after Frizell’s departure from the show in February.
Authorities believe greenlaw and Meek were listed on the flight manifest. Initial reports suggested no survivors, but later details indicated that a British national survived. The Boeing 787-8, carrying 242 people, crashed in Ahmedabad, western India, en route to London Gatwick Airport.
Among the 53 British nationals aboard, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh is believed to be the sole survivor. Akeel Nanabawa, his wife Hannaa Vorajee, and their daughter, residents of Gloucester, also were on the flight, according to the BBC.
So so sad to hear that Fiongal Greenlaw Meek and his partner are reported to be among the passengers and crew killed today on board the Air India flight bound for Gatwick. I remember his visit to the studio in January,he was passionate about auras and even though I’m a sceptical sort his vibrancy and sheer enthusiasm won folk over.
