Thom Yorke’s ‘Dialing In’ Opens New Crime Series​ ‘Smoke’

Thom Yorke,‍ the frontman of Radiohead and The Smile, has released “Dialing In,” a new song‍ providing a⁣ signature moody ambiance. ​The track serves as the ‍opening theme for the upcoming Apple TV+ crime series, Smoke. The show, starring Taran Egerton and Jumee Smollett, premieres June 27. ⁣”Dialing In” is available now in⁣ standard and Dolby Atmos ⁢formats.

The crime series Smoke follows an arson investigator ⁤and a police detective who team up‌ to stop two arsonists.Their pursuit ignites a twisted ⁤game of secrets and suspicions.

“Dialing In,” previously known as “Gawpers,” was first performed by yorke at a ⁤2019 concert in paris.According to ⁤a statement,the song has been refined to underscore the themes of Smoke.

Dennis ‍Lehane, creator and executive producer of Smoke, praised the collaboration. “Working with Thom Yorke was an honor,” Lehane said. “He delivered a song that perfectly ‌embodies the show.”

The release of “Dialing In” ‍follows Yorke’s collaborative album with Mark Pritchard,‍ tall⁣ Tales, which came out‌ earlier this month. Radiohead reunion rumors continue, but no official announcement has been made.
